Golddigger Trust Request

Organisation Description
Golddigger Trust is an award-winning, Sheffield-based charity with a clear and compelling mission: to unearth the value in young people and equip them with the tools they need to build lasting mental wellbeing. We work with young people aged 11–18, particularly those facing disadvantage, trauma, or low self-esteem, supporting them to become confident, resilient, and mentally well.
What are they looking for?
We are looking for a new Treasurer to join our board of Trustees to support the governance and financial oversight of Golddigger Trust, a Christian-motivated charity focused on the education and development of children and young people to enhance their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Specific responsibilities include: - Monitor financial standing, budgets, reserves, and reporting in collaboration with leadership. - Maintain robust accounting practices and oversee financial controls and risk registers. - Approve transactions (e.g., payroll, expenses), liaise with banks and auditors, and ensure timely submissions to regulators. - Ensure strategic financial planning and stewardship of resources. We are looking for someone with a strong financial acumen, integrity, and commitment to the charity’s vision. They should have the ability to communicate financial information clearly and work collaboratively. Most Trustees are expected to be motivated by the Christian faith. Non-Christian members are welcome if aligned with the charity’s values and contribute essential skills.
Timeframe:We would like to have someone in place by the end of 2025
